Is It Okay To Celebrate Halloween? For Many Americans, It Is A Time For Blood Rituals And Unspeakable Acts Of Evil

What I am about to share with you is incredibly disturbing.  Every year on October 31st, some of the most horrifying acts imaginable are carried out in dark corners and back rooms all across America.  In this article, you are going to read about some of those acts.  But for most Americans, Halloween is a supposedly “innocent” holiday that is all about dressing up, eating lots of candy and having fun.  When I was growing up, I gladly participated in the festivities too, because I didn’t understand what the holiday was all about.  According to the National Retail Federation, approximately 70 percent of all Americans celebrate Halloween, and a total of somewhere around 9 billion dollars will be spent on the holiday this year.  But most Americans do not understand that almost all of our modern “Halloween traditions” have their roots in a bloody ancient pagan festival known as Samhain…

  1. From the post—When I was growing up, I gladly participated in the festivities too, because I didn’t understand what the holiday was all about.

    says it for me too.

  2. It’s sad that I wasn’t fully aware of the true origins of Halloween until last year, and even then, I wasn’t sure. But this is the first year that I am not celebrating it in any way shape or form, so that’s something, at least

    1. Abigail,
Not unlike While on this Journey – I grew up taking part in Halloween as well. I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Personally, even as a kid, going out after dark gave me the Willie’s…I now better understand the darkness and what it represents biblically but unfortunately the enemy tries to taint/replicate everything.

About 5 years ago, I started a very unexpected journey into learning about Spiritual Warfare. I read 3 books one summer on the subject and as well as an incredible series of books written by a gifted (but for the most part unknown author) who knew much about the occult before becoming saved/ born again.
Two or three years ago, I decided to begin changing traditions and my approach toward this calendar date. Since that time and with further prayer and guidance of The Ruach I think I have almost removed most Halloween associated decorations and purged related costumes.

Yesterday I had initially posted a video titled “Doctrines” but felt a need to pull it because I think there are some key points missing and I realize there are ministers who visit this site with Flocks of their own to feed- so if I do feel led to revisit the topic I need to approach it from a slightly different vantage point.
All things considered, it is truly amazing how much so many of us (myself included) have missed over the years.
      Blessings & Shalom
