UPDATED/NO GUNS … CHRISTIANS NEVER USE GUNS – NOT EVEN IN SELF DEFENSE!!! – John Baptist

Aren’t We to Be Like Jesus?
Your Last Decision is Your Last

Rev 13:9-10

9 Anyone with ears to hear
should listen and understand.
10 Anyone who is destined for prison
will be taken to prison.
Anyone destined to die by the sword
will die by the sword. (TLB)

(Note: The KJV and NJKV do not get this verse correct!!)

Hebrews 8:6

But now He (Jesus) has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

(see note below on the love covenant)

THE LOVE COVENANT TO ALL PEOPLE

1 Cor 11:25
25 In the same manner He (Jesus) also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood.
NKJV

Note that a covenant is essentially a type of contract but with much more eternal ramifications. The “clauses” added to a new contact/covenant supercede the old contract (Old Testament/ old covenant).  Since Jesus is God (John 10:30, 1 Tim 3:16) He (as one with the Father) established a new covenant with mankind. This is what can be referred  to as the LOVE COVENANT .  The entire New Testament (new contract/covenant is all about love. The second most important commandment (yes they are prioritized) is to LOVE your neighbor as yourself.  In Romans 13:8 it states that “love is the fulfillment of the law because it does no harm to a neighbor”.  In Romans 12 we are commanded to LOVE our enemies. We no longer live,  but it is CHRIST who lives in us. We ARE Christ on this earth. Christ laid his life down out of love for the whole world. For God so loved the WORLD (John 3:16).  Anything that is not done out of love is not of Christ.

I hope  that people “get” the spiritual “mandate” of discipleship on earth. There are so very few truly spiritual Bridal party candidates out there. They “believe” they are spiritual, but they don’t REALLY exhibit it in their hearts. I see this duplicitous (two-faced) dynamics in SOOO many people depending on what the subject is, their “earthliness” is revealed in them.

I pray, often in tears, deep sobbing tears, beseeching God to purge me of any inner earthliness and start to transform me now into a spiritual being overflowing in love; shedding everything that is human in its origin.

I want to stand in front of the man with a gun pointing at my daughter and say “You there! Unclean spirit I command you to come out of that man!“. I know that I know that I know that that man will drop his gun and start to cry because the demon will leave him.

OH GOD Helpst thou our unbelief!

FULFILLING PROPHECY NOT CONDONING WEAPONS

Sell Your Cloak and Buy a Sword

(One of the MOST misunderstood scriptures in the Bible.)

People who do not understand the mandate to love all people as Jesus did, will  frequently point to:

a) The Old Testament (old covenant) to justify their earthly/fleshy desire to kill another person,

b) Luke 22:36-18 claiming that Jesus wanted his disciples to buy swords and even claiming that this proves they carried swords for self defense, when in fact, it proves the opposite.  If they carried swords for self defense Jesus would not have asked them to get swords because they would have already had them.  But the misunderstanding is far worse than that (see below).

c) 1 Timothy 5:8 where people who misunderstand this scripture suggest that failing to provide for their family requires them to “kill” people in self defense, which is a complete misunderstanding of this passage where the admonishment is to provide for your family with the love of Christ and understanding of His Word; to teach them in “His ways”.

WITH 7,957 VERSES IN THE NEW TESTAMENT,  HOW WE ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY OUR FEAR DRIVEN FLESHY DESIRES WITH TWO VERSES IS UNBELIEVABLE.

The word LOVE is in the New Testament 179 Times
Every book of the entire New Testament admonishes us to LOVE

JESUS EVEN STATES …. That our Love FOR HIM, and to be obedient to Him and the Father,  must take precedence over the love of our OWN CHILDREN.

Matt 10:37-38
He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
NKJV

John 14:23-24
23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.
NKJV

THE MYSTERY OF SELLING A CLOAK FOR A SWORD REVEALED

The Lord showed me precisely why Luke 22:35 is in the Bible.  I will leave you with this little a write-up I did for another person.

Look very close at this scripture.

Luke 22:36-38

36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.  37 For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”

38 So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”

And He said to them, “It is enough.”

NKJV

The only reason Jesus told them to get a couple swords was so He could fulfill the prophecy  (in green).

Isa 53:12

And He was numbered with the transgressors,

And He bore the sin of many,

And made intercession for the transgressors.

NKJV

Please  notice that:

1) None of them had swords, that’s why Jesus said to get some swords.  This means that all 12 apostles did not ever carry swords for self defense or for any reason

2) Notice that when one of the apostles came running up to Jesus he said “here Lord are two (2) swords” and Jesus said that is enough.  Why in the world would two swords be enough for thirteen (13) people do defend themselves.  Its not. Jesus was only fulfilling the Isaiah 53:12 prophecy, so they would accuse him of being a rebel when he was not

3) Then later Peter uses one of the very two swords they had and cuts the ear of one of Jesus’ accusers and Jesus rebukes Peter and says

John 18:10-11

10 Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. 11 So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”

NKJV

And he heals the ear of the servant telling Peter to put the sword away.

This had absolutely nothing to do with self defense.  Jesus and the apostles did not need to defend themselves. They operated with the power and authority of GOD; just as we are commanded too.  Peter was wrong, Jesus rebuked him, healed the ear of the man, and told him to put the sword away.

JESUS WAS ONLY FULFILLING THE ISAIAH PROPHECY so that he would be considered a criminal to give them even more (wrongful) reasons to convict him so he could suffer for our sins.

THINK!

There are 7,957 verses in the New Testament, which establishes the NEW COVENANT in Jesus’ blood.  YET we pick primarily TWO verses to justy our fleshy desire to KILL someone instead of loving them unto death as Jesus did for us.

No wonder our Father considers our idea of righteousness to be but “filthy rags” to him.

Isa 64:6
6 But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
NKJV

Rom 13:8-10

8 Owe no man (any man on earth) any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
KJV

WE LOVE OUR ENEMIES …

(Yes even those who seek to do our families harm!)

Rom 12:20-21

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
NKJV

SEEK TO SAVE  YOUR LIFE, AND LOSE IT

Matt 16:24-26
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, (this is an eternal reference) but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. (who gives up his life for Jesus will find eternal salvation).  26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
NKJV

The words “loses his own soul” is proof that these words are ETERNAL in their ramifications.

TURN THE OTHER CHEEK

Matthew 5:37-48

Go the Second Mile

(Turn the Other Cheek)

38 “You have heard that it was said,  ‘An eye for an eye  and a tooth for a tooth.’  39 But I tell you not to resist (anthistemi “to stand against“) an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right  cheek, turn the other to him also.

40 If anyone wants to  sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your  cloak also. 41 And whoever compels you to go one mile,  go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from  him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Love Your Enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said,  ‘You shall love  your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  44 But I say to  you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do  good to those who hate you, and pray for those who  spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may  be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun  rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the  just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love  you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax  collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your  brethren i only, what do you do more  than others? Do  not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you  shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

They Who Seek to Save their Lives Lose It

IT’S ABOUT LOVE
AND
THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus embrace

2 Tim 1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
NKJV

Here is an email I sent to someone who was having a hard time grasping these spiritual concepts of becoming like Jesus.

Our “flesh” (e.g. that is the human part of our existence) is that which Jesus and our God command us to extricate from our existence. Anything and everything that has to do with our human nature to “save ourselves” from harm is part of “the flesh” that God is (essentially) repulsed by.  When we fail at any time to “walk in the spirit” (e.g. believe 100% in the miracles of God and trust the POWER of the Holy Spirit) we are essentially living in “sin” (we are living carnally and in our flesh nature).  We are to become beings of love and light and transform into everything that Jesus Christ was in all our thoughts, beleifs and actions.

Rom 14:23
;for whatever is not from faith is sin.
NKJV

If you feel a twinge of “fear” when a person threatens your family, that fear is “flesh fear” and it comes from Satan.  God expects us to us the supernatural power of His divine protection, the Holy Angels, and the Holy Spirit to take control of ALL situations.  To command tornadoes to change their path, to command lions and serpents to GO NOW and LIKEWISE to take full control of the demons that control the unsaved people who would threaten us and do us harm.  This is who we are in the earth.  Jesus would never kill someone.  Every time in his 33 years of life on the earth of which we have a record of, Jesus responded to every threat with “love” and the supernatural power of God.  That is who we are. (well some of us).  If you feel in your heart a need to protect your family with an earthly weapon you are in sin (see 1 Cor 10:4-6).  It really is that simple. You do not trust God and you do not understand the power of Jesus Christ which lives inside your soul/spirit body matrix.  You are also not putting it into practice. Practice makes perfect oh ye of little faith.

Luke 10:19-20
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
NKJV

No matter how you think it through, how you imagine a “would be attacker” coming toward you or one of your family members, the moment you consider using a weapon, you have given the Satan full authority to kill your family.  You have lost all your power through Christ because you are entered into sin and fear.  However if you stand with the authority of Christ IN YOU and you say ‘In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I COMMAND YOU to LEAVE and drop your weapon NOW IN JESUS NAME” you will successfully save your family’s lives, your own life, but you will also save the life of the attackers and probably lead them to Jesus in tears.  Always saying  as Jesus did, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”.

Ps 78:41
Yes, again and again they (the Israelites) tempted God,
And limited the Holy One of Israel.
NKJV

DON’T LIMIT GOD … HAVE FAITH… USE THE POWER

If the Father knows this is how you will respond to such threats. It is extremely unlikely any danger would approach your family.  For the Lord God tests the righteous.  However if the Father believes that you still have carnal earthly fear inside of you and you do not trust Him or the power of Christ in you, then you are FAR more likely to have your family attacked.

Ps 11:5
The Lord tests the righteous,
NKJV

We need to transform now.  First pray for overwhelming love inside of you for every person including the evil people.  The pray that our Father will teach you about HIS power that lives inside of you and learn to TRUST HIM.

Eph 3:20-21
Now to Him (Jesus) who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
NKJV

DENYING THE POWER

NOTE: This scripture below is about “believers” of today.  We know this because a) it mentions the last days and b) is states that they have a form of godliness which a non-believer would not have.  Note the “key word” of what these ‘believers’ are missing in their walk.  They deny the ‘POWER’ of the Holy Spirit because they do not understand it.

 2 Tim 3:1-5
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness butdenying its power.
NKJV

It is with a heavy heart, and a deep sadness, that I write this article.  Perhaps for some, this article may be a victory.  Unfortunately, for me, it comes with the burden of knowing that many people (and particularly awesome Christians) will suffer unnecessarily because of a “mis-understanding”.  And worse, may have to pay penalties for it, when standing before the Son of Man. Or much worse, end up in hellfire because they killed people due to their lack of understanding and faith in the power of Jesus Christ.

In your last moments  you realize that the feet coming down the hallway are not coming to take you to Heaven

        • Carter Conlon, Sr. Pastor of Times Square Church

The other thing that troubles my heart, is that I stand along with some of the greatest Christians to ever live.  Certainly, I do not consider myself worthy to be counted as part of their group.  In fact I am really not a part of any group.  In fact in most ways, ironically,  I am a “lone voice crying in the wilderness”.  But by virtue of “similar missions” and connected writings the general worldwide readership of Tribulation-Now would naturally assume I am “of one mind” with all those I stand among in “our” mission to disclose the enemy’s movements, and warn the world of the forthcoming “dark times”.

Rom 13:14

14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh
NKJV

put ye on the Lord Jesus

To PUT ON the Lord Jesus is like “sinking into a garment”; literally becoming Him.

Sadly, among many of those it is assumed I stand firm with, there may be some “key” differences that MIGHT separate us.  These “differences” some people may see as “no big deal” but in fact on a global scale and in the midst of the fight we will certainly find ourselves in “pretty soon”, these differences have an impact that reaches into the Heaven’s and will surely make our Lord God cry out in frustration.

Now it’s okay to disagree with me.  And there’s really no point in sending me scriptures you extrapolated in defense or your position.  I know what I know not only because it is what Jesus (and his apostles, disciples, and scribes) clearly said, AND because …

IT MAKES SENSE!

The only reason I am sad about presenting this material is because I am sure that so many will disagree with me.  And while there is no harm in disagreeing, there is enormous harm that will ultimately result due to that disagreement that could have been avoided if the Lord would only “reach out” and speak to them to help them understand the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT and the LEGIONS OF ANGELS we have at our disposal.

But you have to BELIEVE.

A Vision of Warning and Word of Preparation for the Saints

Confusion with the Flow of Scripture

We are all guilty of many things.  I am the first to raise my hand when asked “who’s guilty”?  I stand humbly at the front of the line of sinners unworthy to stand before the Son of Man and I pray, in Jesus name, every day that He pulls me out of harm’s way when the time comes.

And I am also guilty of “cherry picking” scripture.  In fact, I am pretty sure that most of us are unwittingly guilty of this “cherry picking” at one time or another.  I have, at least, learned to TRY and seek contextual agreement of verses before I start “waving them in the air” as my “motto” or official “position statement”.

There is a frightening humility that one learns (hopefully) as they begin their journey in understanding this situation we find ourselves in.  The more I studied this New World Order situation, (off and on about ten years now, concentrated about 5 years), the more I began to realize that Jesus wasn’t kidding when he said they would take us away and kill us and there would be great persecution.  The “natural” thing to want to do is “dig in”.  The natural thing to want to do is “hide out” and protect your family from this forthcoming evil.

Let’s study this problem a bit.

Jesus was the Paradigm Shift

There is no question that the Old Testament is full of conquest.  Chariots, swords and wars all the time.  One Kingdom conquering another.  These scriptures are LOADED with verse after verse that one can use to show “beyond of shadow of a doubt” that it’s “okay” to fight a war on the side of YHWH God, and it’s “okay” to defend your family and protect your property.  One could even argue that for every verse that says it’s okay to “take up arms” there are an equal number of verses that say otherwise.  This is likely the case.

BUT WHY?

Well when you read the Bible there is this really strange “paradigm shift” that occurred when Jesus came down to earth in the flesh.  The entire dynamic changed.  The list of changes is so utterly vast that it would take me an entire book to document them all.

What should jump off the pages at the reader, is that around the time that Jesus came, the Hebrews were pretty much settled in.  Yes, in 70 A.D. there was an uprising against the Roman Empire when the Hebrews decided they had had enough and started waring with the Romans.

BUT LISTEN.  Here is the lesson to be learned by what happened.  The Jews (Hebrews), did not understand that Jesus was their Messiah.  They did not listen to WHO?  They failed to listen to the KING OF KINGS.  Wow.  Think about that for just a minute.  And what happened to them when they up-raised against the Roman Empire?  Millions of them were slaughtered.  MILLIONS.  It was an utter disaster.  A horrible consequence of not following …. WHO?

JESUS

But who was Jesus?  Is not Jesus also God?  Are YHWH and Jesus and the Holy Spirit not the essences of the unity of the “Godhead”.  Are they not spiritually, one in the same?  Was Jesus not here at the “foundation of the world”?

Then it stands to reason, when the Hebrews fought against the Romans, that “their God” (YHWH) wasn’t backing them.  Hmmm.  Well the evidence is clear.  The outcome says it all.

A Commonly Misunderstood Scripture

I decided to do a little looking into the use of the word “sword” in the New Testament.  One of the most commonly misunderstood verses in the Bible regarding the notion of “taking up arms” is Matthew 10:34.  Let’s take a close look at what Jesus was trying to say here.

Matt 10:34

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

NKJV

WOW.  Now those are some powerful words.  I have heard time and time again, people that I dearly love, use this verse as their “motto” to demonstrate that Jesus wasn’t a “pacifist”.  I have heard this verse used to demonstrate that people have a RIGHT to stand up against an unjust government.  Hmm.  Maybe.  Surely we can cut Romans 13 out of the Bible.  Surely … right?

Sorta makes you wonder why GOD (YHWH) made it PERFECTLY CLEAR that He was USING Babylon to place an IRON YOKE around the neck of the Hebrews for not following his instructions.  And for 70 years no less.

I have a wonderful Jewish friend that is surprisingly knowledgeable about such things and often teases me.  He says things to me like “Johnny, you sound like my old Uncle Frank.  Even HE thinks we still have the iron yoke of Babylon around our necks!”.  Funny.  Maybe Uncle Frank is right.  Maybe.

BUT WAIT.

Just this morning, even I was questioning that scripture’s meaning.  Surely is “implies” that Jesus is coming to bring a “sword” and to cause division of sorts … right?  Surely.

Well.  Turns out not really.  Never mind the fact that there are about 27 verses in the New Testament (the new COVENANT) that mention the word “sword”.  And never mind such alarming wake up calls like the verses in Romans that say:

Rom 12:14-21

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;

If he is thirsty, give him a drink;

For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

NKJV

Now if this scripture is not solid enough instruction on how to behave like a true Christian with the FAITH that GOD and His Holy Spirit and Legions of Angels will STAND in your defense (when you do so), then I suppose I am left wondering a bit.

BUT WAIT

Let’s revisit Mark 10:34 again, but THIS TIME, let’s do it with the Kenneth Wuest Expanded New Testament.  Maybe there is some “hint” of why Jesus would say he is coming to bring a “sword”.  After all, Kenneth Wuest in supposedly one of the greatest Greek translators to ever live.  You see the Greek language doesn’t translate well to English.  For example in Greek, there are 5 words for “love”.  Did you know that?  Each Greek word for “love” means something entirely different than the other.  And Mr. Wuest doesn’t just “translate” word for word because this is simply not possible.  He “transliterates” the language so the result is the “intended meaning”.

You DO want to know the “intended meaning” don’t you?

(Note: In the Kenneth Wuest translation, he has to rearrange the “paragraph structures” to ensure the context of the communication is not lost by the errors of the original attempts.  So since each “paragraph” should be speaking about a single “thought stream” when you read Mr. Wuest’s translation, you will see he clumps together the verses a bit differently than the other texts.  This is critical to understand the true and intended meaning)

Matt 10:32

32-1 Everyone therefore who is of such a character that he will confess me before men in the realization of and in testimony to his oneness with me, I also will confess him before my Father who is in heaven in the realization of and testimony to my oneness with him. But whoever is of such a nature that he will deny me before men, I also will deny him before my Father who is in heaven.  Do not suppose that I came with the result that my coming would throw peace suddenly upon the earth. I did not come with the result that my coming would throw peace, but a sword. For I came with the result that my coming puts a man at variance with his father, and a daughter against her mother, and the newly married wife against her mother-in-law, and the enemies of a man shall be those of his household. He who has an affection for father or mother above that which he has for me, is not worthy of me. And he who has an affection for son or daughter above that which he has for me, is not worthy of me. And he who does not take his cross and take the same road with me which I take, is not worthy of me. He who has found his soul-life, shall ruin and render it useless, and he who has passed a sentence of death upon his soul-life for my sake shall find it. He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives Him who sent me on a mission. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whoever shall give one of these lesser ones in their station in life a drink of cool water in the name of a pupil, assuredly I am saying to you, he shall positively not lose his reward. And it came to pass that when Jesus finished giving detailed orders to the twelve disciples, He went away from that place for the purpose of teaching and of making a public proclamation in their cities with that formality, gravity, and authority which must be listened to and obeyed.

(from The New Testament: An Expanded Translation by Kenneth S. Wuest Copyright © 1961 by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co. All rights reserved.)

WOW.  What an amazing difference.  Here you quickly understand that Jesus was merely suggesting that HIS coming to the earth would bring choas to the world.  The “word” sword is simply being used as a metaphor to point out that the “demons seed” generations of the world would not accept him and his teachings (those of His Father YHWH, our Heavenly Father), and the RESULT of this….

HUGE PARADIGM SHIFT

… would be fighting and chaos.

But who would be fighting and where would the chaos be coming from?

Go back and re-read Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13 to wrap your arms around the fact that we Christians will be persecuted.

This doesn’t mean we “fight back”.  This means we ….

ACT EXACTLY LIKE JESUS DID!!

John 16:2-3
They will put you out of the synagogues (the churches and ministries of today); yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you (or persecutes, and speaks evil about you) will think that he offers God service. 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me (i.e., the do not know the LOVE of Jesus and our Father commanded of us)
NKJV

(I addeded throughout this article helper text to assist in the depth of better understanding.  I hope this helps a little)

Are we not supposed to all be like Jesus?  Are we not to become consecrated and sanctified unto Him?  Are we not supposed to be PRECISELY THE IMAGE OF CHRIST here on earth.

The Consequences of This Misunderstanding

Of the 27 verses that mention the word “sword” in the New Testament, arguably only one or two others, when “cherry picked” and taken out of context MIGHT indicate that maybe there is some “sword related” activity.  But when your realize that the KING OF KINGS is clear that HE is coming back to kick some cheek on our behalf, you have to remember this IS a double standard.  Vengeance is MINE sayeth …. WHO?  I believe it is THE LORD.

So in closing let’s just investigate the likely sad and utterly horrible consequences of “some Christians” trying to “righteously” defend themselves.

Two Words.

BRANCH DIVIDIANS

There is not a single one amongst those of us who study the NWO and the “conspiracy” facts that does not realize the ATF attack on the Branch Dividians was uncalled for and taken to extremes.  There are even articles and lots of documentary video evidence that these people, man, woman and child, were BURNED SACRIFICIALLY by these demon possessed entities in our government.

Is it possible there MIGHT have been some borderline wrong doings going on there with their policies on marriage and such?  Maybe.  But the testimonies of those that supposedly impeached Mr. Koresh, were called into serious question.

And why aren’t there TANKS burning down houses in UTAH right now because of their Mormon “like” questionable belief systems.

I submit to you that if there WERE NOT WEAPONS on the campus of the Branch Dividians, they likely would still be there today.

The point here is NOT that the Dividians were decent operation.  The point here is that “they” gave the government REASON to go in and burn the place down.

Don’t give the forces of EVIL a reason to come into your home and kill your children in a fire fight!!  Do you have any idea how many people are being arrested for having arsenals in their homes even though they are in their legal limit of registered weapons?

Summary In Jesus Name

If you behave like Jesus and the apostles did, and you BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit “has your back”, and you believe the scriptures like “If God is for us, who can be against us” then what is your ultimate goal of considering any action other than that of PEACE AND LOVE?

ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THEY NEED ANYTHING OTHER THAN GOD TO PROTECT THEM, DOES NOT UNDERSTAND PSALM 91 AT ALL.

Maybe the soldier dressed in black, pointing his weapon at your home, is a Christian.  Maybe as he is following orders he is praying “In the Name of Jesus, let this family surrender that they may LIVE and proclaim the GLORY OF GOD!”

AND THEN YOU SHOOT!

Never mind the millions of peaceful true Christians that will suffer because of the lies the media will tell about your “stand off”.  Never mind the persecution the rest of us will face because they slander your name and tell the world that THOSE DARN CHRISTIANS are a threat to us ALL.

Maybe your bullet hits the target. Maybe you kill that soldier.  Maybe you killed the ONLY Christian in the entire group.

OH YOU SAY “But it was a Russian soldier” ….  Well 71% of Russian are Christians.

Remember those feet coming down the hallway may not be coming to take you to Heaven.

 AND THEN ….

Luke 21:36

36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

  1. Matthew 5
    Retaliation
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.

    Love Your Enemies
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

    1. Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord,

      He

is my refuge and my fortress:
      my God;

      in him will I trust.

      Surely he shall deliver thee
from the snare of the fowler,
      and from the noisome pestilence.

      He shall cover thee
      with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

      Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
      nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

      Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side,
      and ten thousand at thy right hand;
but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold
and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the Lord,
which is my refuge, even the most High,
      thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee,

neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
      to keep thee

      in all thy ways.

      They shall bear thee
      up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
      the young lion
      and the dragon

      shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me,

      therefore will I deliver him:

I will set him on high,

because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:

      I will be with him in trouble;

      I will deliver him,
      and honour him.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Who among you understands this ?
      Who among believes this?

      Truely?

As all who read this will be tested.

Even now you are weighed in the scales of truth.

Who are the sons of the Lord?

      Rev 22

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers,

      and murderers,

and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

  2. To Linda & Ken,

Both very well said and very good points.
Sometimes it’s fiery chariots from Heaven, sometimes its 5 smooth stones. Both are right. It just depends on how God is leading you.

  3. I also believe in most of God’s word, there is a “letter of the law” and a “spirit of the law”.
As an example, the Bible says not to lie. Hard and fast rule??
A elderly woman comes up to you, hideous hair-do, make-up smudged all over her face, and your first thought is “ugliest old woman I’ve ever seen”. And she says to you “How do I look?” Do you reply with the truth? Or do you say “you look just fine dear (a lie by the way) here, let me wipe that little smudge off your cheek”. The lie, if you want to call it that, is better.
A man bursts into your home with a bloody knife in his hand and says “where’s your daughter?”
Do you say the truth “2nd door on the right in the hallway” or do you lie “she’s not home”.
There is balance to everything in God’s word. And we should all agree on something, I’m not right 100% of the time, you are not right 100% of the time. And that’s OK. That’s how we learn and broaden our understanding.

  4. Sorry Mischa,
But I cant agree. So if a man walks in your door and says “where’s your daughter, Im going to kill her with my ax” and so you would say “2nd door to the right down the hall”? Or do you defend your daughter?
No, Israelite’s fought neighboring nations and people who occupied the land. Not demon seeds. Some may have been, obviously not all were. Sometimes it was even their own kin or relatives. They fought people.
And, will I be able to defend myself against rape or murder?? Really? So, a guy walks in the door with an ax, and I’m standing there with a 357. And you are asking me if I would be able to defend myself? Hmmmmm…..Yep. I would take no pleasure in it, it would not be my first choice, and I would offer the person a chance to retreat or drop the weapon. Have you done God a service by letting him kill you for no reason? The good is snuffed out, the evil continues. Good thing?
Im only under His shadow when I align with His will? That implies Im being kept safe if aligning with His will. That would mean the countless martyrs including the bulk of the apostles and prophets must have had issues, they were all killed. We may live, die, be murdered, and many other things while being “under His shadow”. I don’t think its guaranteed safety, just an assurance of His will being done.
There is a big difference between someone telling me “deny Christ or I kill you” or “I’m going to rape your family”. I would be inclined to submit to the 1st, and fight the 2nd.
Rebellion? Nope. I see no scripture or doctrine being violated.
There is a difference between being persecuted “for His name’s sake”, and submitting to senseless violence that has absolutely nothing to do with defending His name.
I believe God wants us to live peaceably with all men, as best we can. Sometimes you can’t.

  5. Here is wisdom. . . . Seek the LORD in ALL areas of your life. Each person will be directed by Holy Spirit in ALL areas; this is going to be critical for each person to fulfil his/her calling. That being said, here’s TRUTH: The weapons that are going to be unleashed upon humanity can NOT be conquered by anything the average U.S. Citizen may have or even purchase. These will be at a demonic level of evil that can only be overcome by the power and presence of Holy Spirit.
Now, here’s more TRUTH for both sides of this discussion: don’t judge your brethern. Some will be called to war against demonic entities with weapons that shouldn’t be able to conquer them (e.g., Giants, or hybrids, or rabid dogs, cats, raccoons, etc.) . . . This will demonstrate the power of Holy Spirit in that area.
Others will be called to get rid of all weapons, for the LORD has other plans for that person (e.g., the Fire of Holy Spirit blinds the human “enemy”, confusion in the camp and they turn on each other . . . Or . . . They fall under the power of Holy Spirit and repent and become saved like Paul, who was formerly called Saul). EACH person, again, must seek the LORD on what he/she is called to do.
AND . . This is a heart matter. You can turn kitchen knives, cars, semi-trucks, baseball bats, rope, chain saws, “RoundUp”, a bathtub full of water, even chairs or butter knives into weapons to kill . . . The evil heart will come up with a way to destroy and it doesn’t take a gun.

SO we each must . . . REPENT . . . FORGIVE. . . And SEEK THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND. Ask HIM if there is any area in our life that is a open door of sin that allows demonic influences to impact us, for the plans of Satan are to take out as many humans as possible, sending as many souls as possible to the ultimate eternal torture of the Lake of Fire.

Bottom Line: DO YOU KNOW THE LORD YESHUA AND HE KNOWS YOU? DO YOU HEAR HIM? DO YOU OBEY HIM? If not. . . Again, seek the LORD while He may be found for when the massive judgement are unfolding and chaos is global, it will be difficult, if not impossible to do that.

    Blessings,
    Linda Hasche (Believe Acts2)

P.s., the following is what happens to Christians who choose to debate (Please consider looking at this before going into the debate zone, which I won’t enter):

    1. Linda thank you for your Godly wisdom that you have expressed here. Remember the Holy Spirit is the one who gives us the wisdom. We must seek him now while he may be found!

      1. You are very welcome, Jeff and amen . . . Holy Spirit gives us wisdom

  6. In the last week there have been two sets of Words from the Holy Spirit(?) by different people. One says get a gun, get steel. The other says basically says sell your gun, sell your steel.
The one person who said get a gun also said approximately March 10 there’s going be a huge flooding in US.
10 days later there’s huge flooding in the Midwest. So I am trying to reconcile the differences. It does not seem as though both words can be from the Holy Spirit.
I know this is kind a in your face. But sometimes it needs to be said.
So when my kids were little let’s hypothetically say there was a pitbull dog that was attacking one Of my kids. I’m not supposed to do anything? So what if they are Old now and a older person is attacking one of my adult kids I’m not supposed to do anything?
    Stand there and watch?
The word kill in the Bible – It’s root word is murder as I understand it. Kill and murder are two different things.
To get very personal my adult daughter was murdered. If I had been there I truly hope I would’ve done my best to intervene. And if I had killed the attacker I can’t understand how anybody could use the Bible so say that was wrong.
A pastor I know Packs, and X missionary I know Packs also. I know the pastor well enough to know that he hears from The Holy Spirit. Comments are welcome.

      1. Dear Ken,

I have as well lost loved ones in my family that were murdered. I know that many will not understand this but the murderers life is just as precious as theirs and only the Lords love can open ones eyes to this. I will see them again as the Lord promised and perhaps another soul will be there as well)
The Christ who rebuked Peter who was not in the Lords will by hurting the soldier. We lose ones we love daily, countless of innocent, through war, abortion and other evil.
But our hope lies in the Christ and in the world that is eternal.
If the Christ gave up His life as did the apostles and prophets throughout the new testament are we not to. Rather kill others that our own lives will be spared?

Many are afraid. That is why they trust in their weapons.

This is why tribulation comes upon the whole earth,
to wash the robes of those that are spiritually unprepared.

Prophecy must be tested against the word. Especially now as clearly their is great delusion and most beleivers are of the world. Especially the ones in mystery Babylon.

This thread shows how late the hour truly is.

Peace to all, the reckoning comes. Soon!

  7. Luke 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace.
Exod 22:2 If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall be no blood be shed for him.
Psa 144:1 Praise the Lord who is my Rock. He trains my hands for war, and gives my fingers skill for battle.
Psa 18:34 He trains my hands for battle, He strengthens my arms to draw a bronze bow.
Psa 44:5 Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us.”

I dont trust in my sword to save me, I trust the Lord. But that doesn’t mean I’m foolish enough to think God didn’t give me the integrity to defend my family if needed. Inside of every man is the desire to defend his family, I believe that’s a God given desire. I don’t believe God intends us to lie down and do nothing, or He wouldn’t have given us the desire to protect our family and ourselves. When Jesus comes back, he doesn’t slowly convince the world to stop war with kind words. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, not the lamb of the tribe of Judah.
I’m not suggesting we start a vigilante movement, or that weapons will save us. The Bible says that a man that doesn’t provide for his family is worse than an infidel. Part of providing for the family is your heart to protect them.
Remember grade school math? If A=B, and B=C, then A=C.
If the Fathers heart is to protect us, and if we are to have the Fathers heart, why would we not want to also protect those that are under our care, the same as He wants to protect those that are under His care?
    Ecc:3 To everything there is a season………………….

    1. Dear Norm,

In the former covenant,( that you quoted from) Israel fought the seed of demons, that were not mankind.

Do you have any “knowledge” wisdom from the new agreement, that you are judged by in truth?

      “Remember grade school math”

Do you think you can prevent your family from rape, or even your own rape and/ or crucifixion? Truly?

Remember you are only under His shadow when you are in His will aligning.

      Rebellion is treated as such.

      Blessings

  8. There seems to be a lot of confusion on this topic, please the difference between killing and murder.
Why is “You shall not murder” in the Ten Commandments?
    You shall not murder
Question: “Why is ‘You shall not murder’ in the Ten Commandments?”

Answer: Simply stated, the sixth of the Ten Commandments forbids the unjustified taking of a human life. However, the commandment itself has a couple of interesting elements that bear mentioning. First and foremost, different Bible translations give the appearance of different meanings, and there is potential for misunderstanding the actual meaning of the verse. Second, man was never created for the act of murdering another, and there needs to be an explanation for such a violent and final act towards another human being. Third, because of the translational challenge, we need to understand the difference between “murder” and “killing.” And last but not least, how does God view murder? To God, murder is not just physical in nature but also the condition of one’s heart towards another.

There are two different Hebrew words (ratsakh, mut) and two Greek words (phoneuo, apokteino) for “murder” and “killing.” One means “to put to death,” and the other means “to murder.” The latter one is the one prohibited by the Ten Commandments, not the former. In fact, ratsakh has a broader definition than the English word “murder.” Ratsakh also covers deaths due to carelessness or neglect but is never used when describing killing during wartime. That is why most modern translations render the sixth commandment “You shall not murder” rather than “You shall not kill.” However, a very large issue can arise depending on which translation one studies. The ever-popular King James Version renders the verse as “Thou shalt not kill,” therefore opening the door to misinterpreting the verse altogether. If the intended meaning of “Thou shalt not kill” was just that—no killing—it would render all of the God-endorsed bloodletting done by the nation of Israel a violation of God’s own commandment (Deuteronomy 20). But God does not break His own commandments, so, clearly, the verse does not call for a complete moratorium on the taking of another human life.

Why does man murder? We know that we were created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) and we were made to live in harmony with God and with our fellow man. This harmony became impossible once sin entered into the picture (Genesis 3). With sin came the propensity for acting violently against one another. Anger, jealousy, pride and hatred can fuel man’s evil bent towards life-ending aggression. The first recorded act of murder was when Cain killed his brother Abel (Genesis 4:8). From that moment on, taking the life of another has been commonplace and, in some circles of society, acceptable. However, to God every life is important, and since God knew that man was sinful and evil and had become “lawless,” He enacted guidelines that would seek to modify man’s behavior (1 John 3:4).

So, is there a difference between murder and killing? First, it is important to note that not all killing is wrong. For instance, the apostle Paul talks about the right of the state to take the lives of evildoers (Romans 13:1-7). This relates to what is commonly referred to as capital punishment. Most countries have consequences for murder. In some cases this requires the life of the perpetrator and a suitable means of putting one to death is chosen and administered (Matthew 5:21; Exodus 21:14). Another instance of acceptable “killing” is that which is done during times of war and at the command of superiors. There were quite a few instances in Scripture where God endorsed and allowed the taking of other lives (1 Samuel 11; Judges 6–7). And finally, although far from acceptable, manslaughter is yet another form of killing someone. This unintentional act apparently happened so often in biblical times that cities of refuge were designated for the manslayer to seek refuge in (Exodus 21:13; Joshua 20). Again, it was never God’s intent to have to use such a drastic measure as taking one’s life to rectify a situation. So, God does make exceptions for the taking of another’s life as long as it lines up with His will. However, premeditated murder of an individual is never God’s will.

What is murder in God’s eyes? From the human perspective, murder is the physical act of taking another’s life. However, we also must consider that God defines murder as any thought or feeling of deep-seated hatred or malice against another person. In other words, it is more than just a physical act that constitutes murder to God, who tells us that “everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him” (1 John 3:15 ESV). When we harbor hatred in our hearts for another, we have committed the sin of murder in God’s eyes. The disdain towards another person never has to be demonstrated outwardly because God looks upon the heart for the truth (1 Samuel 16:7; Matthew 15:19). As Christians and as human beings, we know that unjustified killing is wrong. God’s Word is very clear on this point: “You shall not murder.” And what God says we must obey, or we face the consequences on judgment day.

    1. Dear John,

In the ten commandments the Hebrew word “ratsach” strongs (7523) is used. It means to take human life.

You are clearly mistaken, the entire new testament (covenant, promise) bears witness to this, as the Christ and His word.

Time to repent and time to prepare – in the true sense.

Tribulation is at hand. And only the Lord will save the few left that are His remnant.

You can do nothing to save your family or self physically, beyond prayer, in alignment to His will and that for the most part is spirit and not the flesh.

      Revelation 12.11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

      Peace & Blessings

      1. 1st Corinthians 12.30 ~31 & ch13

Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
But covet earnestly the best gifts:

and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
        and have not charity,
I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy,
        and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge;
and though I have all faith,
so that I could remove mountains,
and have not charity, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and though I give my body to be burned,
        and have not charity,
        it profiteth me nothing.

        Charity suffereth long, and is kind;
charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself,
        is not puffed up,

        Doth not behave itself unseemly,
        seeketh not her own,
        is not easily provoked,
        thinketh no evil;

        Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

        Beareth all things,
        believeth all things,
        hopeth all things,
        endureth all things.

        Charity never faileth:
        but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
        whether there be tongues, they shall cease;

whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child, I spake as a child,
I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

        For now we see through a glass, darkly;
        but then face to face:
        now I know in part;
but then shall I know even as also I am known.

        And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;
but the greatest of these is charity.

  9. ‘The Gun’ Rules In Venezuela Now And Their Grid Down & Descent Into Anarchy Are Huge Warnings To America – A US Invasion Of Venezuela Could Lead To Similar Situation Here If Worst Case Scenario Unfolds —–Steve Quayle’s web site posting today.

Just remember, if fighting, rioting takes place, stay home, don’t open the door, may need to stay up all night with the outside lights on.

If electricity fails and you don’t have a generator, hopefully you will have solar powered motion lights charged by the sun during the day.

Also, yo can buy on Amazon or optics planet, hand held, pocket size thermal monocular that can see hot images up to 100 yards. That includes people. FLIR is one. Can use in day. Need to see at night.

  10. This article does not sit well with me. Like Ken said above, we are not to blow people away, but that doesn’t mean we cannot be prepared.

I like what one brother said, and I’m paraphrasing, that our battle is not against flesh but the spiritual forces use fleshly beings to carry out their plans.

Aren’t we called warriors for a reason? Many messengers have dreams in which they physically fight the enemy, where they have weapons or even just use their hands. Even one case where the person aimed and the Lord pulled the trigger for them.

As John Baptist said on his site, it would ideally be a case where one could simply cast out the demon. But in a dire situation where seconds matter and it’s either an enemy force or an innocent person, I am not so sure I’m willing to take that chance. Call it lack of faith, if you want, but what if the answer IS to use physical force and you don’t?

This is NOT a matter of taking vengeance, but of defending the innocent.

My prayer is that as these things come to our own areas, the Holy Spirit will guide us through each circumstance.

To sit by and let one’s family be murdered or harmed when they could intercede, or even for a stranger, would be a huge problem.

The way I understand David feeling bad about Saul is because he was considering harming one of God’s anointed. Not just because he was king.

  11. There are numerous times in the 20th century when people were forced to give up there guns and genocide happened to whole cultures. Satan’s doings.
If we have to give up our guns , I will turn mine in. I am not afraid of dying, but I will not stand for anybody to rape or harm my family or loved ones. there will be wild animals attaching people during the end times ,the bible tells me so. I said this to say this,I have been listening to you for years Johnny and you can say what ever you like, but we have the Holy Ghost in us. man is fallible, so thanks for caring Johnny, may Our Father continue to bless you.

    1. While we are not to put our trust in our weapons or our ability to defend ourselves, that does not mean God will not lead us do so. This topic of personal self defense and interventionary defense of another is a topic I believe God is bringing to the surface because it is becoming and will become a primary issue in our lifetime. It will be something at some point that we will all be faced with on a daily basis. First and foremost we do put out trust in The Lord Jesus Christ. We hide ourselves in the Psalm 91 secret place covering. That being said to make it a blanket statement that God would never lead you to defend yourself or another, I believing is clearly misleading and also harmful to those that God is leading to be sheep dogs(protectors) of the innocent. God is also calling many to begin to prepare naturally by sticking up on certain items, food, water, medical, etc. some would argue that this is against scripture. It’s not against scripture. God is leading people outside of our boundaries we have placed on Him. Without making this whole response long winded, I have included recent words that others have been given by the Lord to share regarding this topic along with real documented scenarios of how personal self defense and interventionary defense of others was used to save innocent lives. Please take the time to prayerfully watch and listen to these and seek the Lord for yourself in which way He would lead you to go. It maybe different for us all how God wants us to obey Him regarding these matters but if we seek Him, He will make the way clear on all topics and issues for this life He has given to us.

  12. Oh, boy! I understand the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. But knowing how to use carnal weapons will likely probe to be a useful skill, kind like learning how to fly an airplane or helicopter. Not something everyone can do or maybe even agrees with, but a useful skill nonetheless. We will see very soon if/when they begin to ban guns how much people will WISH they had their right back to bear arms and use them against murderers, rapists and roving gangs. I’m not condoning blowing people away, but if you know how to use a gun as a tool and not a weapon from proper training and you have a command presence you won’t even have to pull the trigger! I’ve held MANY people at gun point (including gangs) in my career in law enforcement and security and I NEVER pulled the trigger once! Didn’t have to, but was always prepare to. I think people are going to see very soon how important the right to bear arms is and how we will REGRET giving up that right.

    1. Dear Ken,

As written in the word. The great tribulation is a time unlike any other, since the beginning of the world. If so, the only hope of enduring to the end is by the Lord and in Him.
Therefore ultimately the human understanding outside of this is really of little value.

Almost the entire host of believers spoken of in new testament lived through persecution. Ending with the book of revelation that again reiterates that the time that was, will be again at the end of the “epoch” or age, that is now ending.
And multitudes that served the Lord in that time were martyred, as was nearly everyone notable from John the Baptist to John of Patmos.

In this context it really becomes bizarre how any believe this time will be otherwise.

Yet this is the reason the great tribulation occurs. The final harvest. The tribulation is to cleanse and refine the robes of the believers left, for the wedding supper.
An opportunity given to wash their robes.

Carnal tooling matters little. Especially in this time.

    2. Great to see you are still around, Ken. Haven’t seen much of you for a while. There is a lot of wisdom in your words.

If weapons may be defined as those things that give us the power to accomplish something, then that power can always be used righteously or unrighteously. With any kind of power (whether man-made or God-made), there is always the potential for abuse and heavy damage; there is no disputing that. And the safer option, for many, may well be to refuse power. But the better option, I believe, is to learn to submit one’s power (whether carnal or spiritual) to the Most High that He may direct its righteous use.

Brethren, I’ve heard it said, “If you want to wield the power of the Lion of Judah, you first need to cultivate within yourself the heart of the Lamb of God. If you do not have the heart of the Lamb of God, you have no business wielding or even trying to wield the power of the Lion of Judah.”

      1. Thanks Sujit. Yeah, I’m still alive and kickin’ I’ve been censored and they’re trying to take us all down one by one. But we’re still alive, praise the Lord! I know this subject is controversial and we’re all brothers and sisters in the Lord, each of us has to follow the Spirit and the instructions He gives us in how to prepare and what to prepare for. I hope this doesn’t divide people as I have already heard that it has the potential to do so. We will all know the truth of ALL things one day. In the meanwhile, we prepare as instructed. God bless!

  13. Like to comment regarding about Matt 10:32: Jesus is our every thing. Our supplier, our source for everything. You often hear people speak of their children as My such and such? people are more possessive and easily agitated over something said about their children/grandchildren than when Jesus is prosecuted or defamed: That seems to be more acceptable. I once read where a singer said nothing interferes with her music.

Cannot put anything imaginable material possession on the same level as Jesus. Remember that. If your mother, father, brothers and sisters disown you, forsake you and you Chose Jesus, you have obeyed his command in this scripture because he came in the name of His Father, to repair the break between God and Man and restore the bridge that was broken at man’s fall in the garden of eden.

Also, he knew, that there would be many distracting voices from Satan through his servants and another purpose was to have the person to focus as a laser beam on him at all times and not looking left or right.

Christians are like people who are besieged by an attacking force holding/occupying a portion of land until reinforcements/relief arrive.

In regard to self defense…. You and I are not going to win against The New World Order when it happens. If they come for your weapons. give them up. They will come in force.

But I believe a man has the responsibility to defend his wife and children but in a manner that is not extreme. While it is true a Christian may be a member of an opposing element, they can say no to having to carry a weapon or to fire their assigned weapon.
It was found out that in WWII less than 17 per cent of US soldiers actually killed the enemy and that many US Soldiers shot to wound.

We are too militant in the secular world and in The Body of Christ.

BRANCH DIVIDIANS: I watched this unfold on TV when the U.S. Army Tank , a Tank retriever started to demolish the main building and then the fire broke out. But what stuck out in my mind was the comment then President Clinton made and that was we need perhaps to pay more attention to people who believe in Revelation type Doctrine.

  14. I read this post last night. This morning I woke up and did my quiet time. I’m reading through the chronological Bible and low and behold the next portion of my reading was the story of Saul hunting down David. The point at which David could have killed Saul, he only tore his robe (felt TERRIBLE about that) and spared Saul’s life. At this point Saul finally conceded that David was worthy to be king. David continually pleaded to the Lord for protection. What an example.

God is so good. He really confirms things when you ask for it.

    1. Thank you for sharing this! That is an excellent example and even from the Old Testament when people argue that they killed everyone back then.

      1. 1. To clarify…God commanded Israel to utterly wipe out specific people groups because their DNA was corrupted with angelic DNA. God could not let THAT corruption take root and spread as it had before the flood.

        2. David understood that King Saul was the anointed king which is why he wouldn’t touch him. But David sure did kill many people in his life. It’s why God wouldn’t allow him to build the Temple in Jerusalem.

  15. Well put brother. Thank you for your post
Many truly believe it is an easy road in the true Christian life. If you are not being persecuted or harassed something is wrong. Either we are scattering or gathering for the Lord King Jesus. I was pulled into the supervisor office last year twice for preaching the gospel and my closest coworker turn me in. They told to stop and I said no the gospel will be preached. Praise God grant us thy servants the grace and mercy through the blood of Jesus Christ to continue to pursue and be in thine will o Lord as it is in heaven so be on earth. Peace of Christ.!

  16. Ephesians 2.10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
